One of the two most prominent solos for trombone (at least according to orchestral audition lists) is Grondahl’s Concerto. It’s a very effective piece from an artistic standpoint, and one of my favorites to play.

  • Grondahl: Concert (Mvt 1)
  • Grondahl: Concert (Mvt 2)
  • Grondahl: Concert (Mvt 3)
